Thank you for sponsoring the White Ribbon Soiree in memory of Barbara Bauer and other members of our community lost to lung cancer. You may recall Dr. Robinson's metaphor that evening about the wisdom of searching in the dark for answers about lung cancer rather than joining the masses drawn to the light.

Your remarkable support created Prelude to a Cure's first research grant which will be the model for unleashing future scientists to search for answers while generating the data required to apply for major research grants that may lead to a cure for lung cancer.

The Ribbon is White - Bring it to Light event will feature an introduction to the Young Investigator Research grant established in honor of Barbara Bauer, a live preview of Dr. Robinson's TED talk about is vision for shining a light on lung cancer, and the launch of Prelude 's new website. With your involvement the site will become the foundation of a campaign that will include videos and public service announcements designed to raise awareness and funding for lung cancer research.

We are reaching out to our founding sponsors first since this exclusive evening is limited to eighty guests. Chef Dave West is returning to prepare an elegant dinner, count on bubbles and wine, fabulous entertainment and some surprises along the way. More importantly, you will spend the evening in the company of Dr. Lary Robinson and Dr. Scott Antonia from Moffitt Cancer Center whose vision led to the creation of Prelude to a Cure, a 501C3 charitable organization.

Please review the sponsorship opportunities and sign up early for this extraordinary experience.
